Living your life for other people is a surefire way to end up feeling unfulfilled and unhappy. It's important to prioritise your own happiness and well-being, even if it means disappointing or hurting those around you.

We often feel pressure from society, our families, and even our friends to conform to certain expectations and norms. We may feel obligated to pursue a certain career path, marry a certain person, or live a certain lifestyle because it's what is expected of us. But at the end of the day, you are the one who has to live with the consequences of your choices, not anyone else.

It's important to remember that it's okay to put yourself first and make decisions that are in line with your own values and desires. It's not selfish to prioritise your own happiness and well-being. In fact, it's necessary for your own mental and emotional health.

Of course, this doesn't mean that you should completely disregard the feelings and needs of those around you. It's important to communicate openly and honestly with the people in your life and try to find a balance that works for everyone. But ultimately, you have to do what's right for you, even if it means disappointing or hurting some people you love.

Remember, you only have one life to live, so make sure you're living it in a way that brings you joy and fulfilment. Don't let the expectations and opinions of others dictate your decisions. Trust yourself and follow your own path, even if it means going against the grain. Your happiness is worth it.
